The traditional "Speckbrettl" (36 x 25.5/22 x 2cm + handle 14cm) is part of a South Tyrolean "Marende" :) It's not just a working tool; bacon or other specialties can also be served elegantly on it. Please do not wash the wooden board wet or put it in the dishwasher; clean it with a damp cloth. The wood is treated with a suitable oil. If the wood becomes rough over time or due to improper care, simply sand it down and re-treat it with oil (conventional cooking oil).
Due to its properties (thickness and crispiness), "Schüttelbrot" can break very easily despite careful packaging. In the event of breakage, "Schüttelbrot" still retains its taste and quality, which is why there is no right of return or complaint. DID YOU KNOW? The thinner and more fragile the "Schüttelbrot", the higher the quality. :)
